January 2008 update
Here is my first of many Rider Update, as promised. I'm finally off to the mountains, 1 month in Breckenridge with fellow DC team. So there's not much to tell of so far, the Land Rover sessions and the Hull street session were rad and I was stoked to be involved. Other than that I've been trying to get over to CAS whenever possible and have done a few girls academies with Keita which is always good fun. I wil be back for a bit in February and plans for trips are vague but definitely a team trip with DC and the Brits in March/April.
Oh yeah I won the Black Metal and came second in the Aim series! That seems like a long time ago!

What is the best thing about snowboarding/skiing?

Who/what are your influences?
The people I ride with mainly, the cas/sheff/fax crew
Best place you have ever ridden?

Back nose to back tail
Worst injury?
Concussion at the Daily Mail show
What goes through your head when riding?
Usually some tune from a favourite snowboarding video
You’re stood above the biggest kicker/rail you ever will hit. How do you make yourself try it for the first time?
Watch someone you know do it, if you can judge their ability, it helps you know how you’ll cope and then make sure you go fast enough and pop!
24 hrs before all the snow in the world melts, how would you spend your last dream day and last ever trick of the session?
Riding a big park with loads of friends, I immediately think of South Park in Mammoth for some reason, last trick would be 180 nose butter sw bs out!
Proudest/most memorable moment in snowboarding/skiing?
Competitions are always satisfying when you do well, hitting handrails for the first time, spinning of big jumps for the first time, definitely proud of those things.
Furthest place snowboarding/skiing has taken you?
Lots of different places which I’ve always wanted to visit, finland this year was a highlight, its opened up experiences, brought some awesome parties, some of the best people I know, and many blue bird memories.
Biggest thing you’ve missed to go snowboarding?
I could’ve gone to Ghana this year for 6 month but decided snowboarding was a bigger priority at this time.
What do you like about SNO!zone?
Its always there, even when its raining outside, or least like winter you can still get your fix. I think I learn more things at castleford than anywhere else.
Have you had any coverage in the media?
Some press, some snowboard media, some online stuff, some channel 4 coverage apparently, and footage in various shorts/films
If you could spend a day with anyone famous, dead or alive, who would it be?
I don’t know if it should be more significant than this, but I’d like to go ride with Benedek, chat on the chairlift and carve it up on the groomers.
Plans for the future?
Keep riding, learning, progressing, meeting people and travelling to new places.
Famous last words?
Powder skirts – snow traps or priceless, I’m not quite sure.
